Skin Concern:
Rosacea & Redness
Rosacea is a long-term skin condition that mainly affects the face. It causes redness, often making your skin look flushed or sunburned, even when you're not in the sun. You might also notice: tiny red bumps, visible blood vessels, dry and irritated skin.

How Rosacea Develops?
The exact cause of rosacea is unknown, but it likely involves a combination of factors.
Genetics: A genetic predisposition may increase susceptibility to rosacea.
Blood Vessel Reactivity: Blood vessels in the face become easily dilated, leading to flushing and redness.
Inflammation: Chronic inflammation plays a significant role in the development and progression of rosacea.
Microbial Factors: Certain bacteria, such as Demodex mites, may contribute to rosacea in some individuals.
Environmental Triggers: Sun exposure, hot drinks, spicy foods, alcohol and extreme temperatures.
Types of Rosacea
Persistent redness, visible blood vessels, and skin sensitivity.
Redness with acne-like breakouts, often confused with adult acne.
Thickened, bumpy skin, commonly affecting the nose (rhinophyma).

Treating Rosacea
Cleansers: Choose gentle, fragrance-free cleansers that won't irritate the skin.
Exfoliants: Avoid harsh scrubs and opt for gentle chemical exfoliants like lactic acid or colloidal oatmeal.
Moisturisers: Use a lightweight, fragrance-free moisturizer to soothe and hydrate irritated skin.
Serums: Consider serums with calming ingredients like green tea extract, licorice root extract, and ceramides to soothe and strengthen the skin barrier.
